Bought this as the original pump that came with my cats water fountain died. It fit perfectly in the machine and works great. Easy to assemble and desemble as needed for cleaning. It's actually been lasting longer than the original pump so I would say great quality. It's a little tricky to clean but not too difficult if you have a good scrub brush and straw cleaner.

This is a great pump. It works well and was the perfect replacement for our cat water fountain.The pump fits perfectly. It runs very quietly. The cats are happy (and if the cats are happy, the humans are happy).

Just got it so I can't speak to how long it will last, but it is very quiet. I was not expecting that the quiet sound would mean that it was not as strong. I replaced a similar pump (after only 10 months) in the cat fountain, and the old one made the water come out higher, but that also meant it made a splashing sound. Now the water just quietly seeps down the side. I am happy that the cat seems to still like it; I prefer the quiet sound as I often worried I had a leak in the kitchen!

My cat absolutely LOVES to drink from running water. Bought him a Reallty (?) brand pet water fountain last year and he just adores it. Sometimes he will just lay down next to it and hug the base of the water fountain watching the water flow, and of course taking some licks now and then.The downside of pet water fountains is of course that you need to clean them out regularly because you're pets saliva dirty's The water and makes it nasty. I have two cats so I have to clean it out about every week and a half to two weeks. The other downside of course is that you have to get replacement filters for it, but they're not too expensive.Somehow over time the original pump that came with the water fountain failed and it was really nice to be able to just get a new pump. A little time-consuming to clean out, but well worth it to make my boy happy and well hydrated

Working great. Replaced the pump that came w/ my fountain which was used non-stop for 3 yrs. Hopefully this one lasts as long. I replace the filters and clean 1x a week. Cat loves the Petlibro fountain so a new pump was great way to save buying an entire new unit.

My old one froze up after using with softened water (scaly) and left for a year unused after. I was worried about the fit but this fit perfectly and works great.

This motor is great, but typically it runs out in about a year for me. Just trying to be honest, I don't mind spending the money since it's not that much yearly.
