To test it out, I set a large bowl of water on the kitchen counter. After 4 or 5 compressions of the bulb, the water began to flow. The height differential between the bowl and the bottom of the sink was under a foot. That impressed me, and I have no doubt that transferring gas will be no problem. There are extra accessories included that are pretty cool. One is a clamp so the flow can be cut in time to not overfill a container. There are others that can be useful as well. I looked at electronic pumps, thinking they might be more reliable. Turns out this one can be depended upon, and at a reasonable price. I’m both relieved, and excited to have a transfer pump that will work when needed.
