As always we recommend using a small amount of clear sealant to hold the aperture adaptor secure and water tight. Our recommendation for a static vent in a single glass aperture of 188mm is to use a Vent a matic PBS with an aperture adaptor, using the PBS means you will not need a longer screw as with the PB as the centre of the PBS passes through the glass.
