**Q: can someone tell me where the switch is located?**
A: next to the light bulb, but for a better experience I attach a floor lamp dimmer so I can control it on the floor with my feet and I can dim the light to my preference .

**Q: Can someone give me the exact shipping dimensions? I need to send it to Singapore...**
A: It's been almost two years since I bought mine and it's still a vivid memory!  I live in Hawaii so of course they would not ship here, so I had to have it sent to Baltimore where I was visiting and then ship it to Hawaii.  It came in two VERY large boxes.  The shade in one large square box that I could barely get through the door and the legs in a separate large flatish rectangular box, both had some weight to them.  It cost be $75 to ship via the post office because if I had gone with FexEd or UPS it would have been closer to $200.  It's a beautiful lamp, but I'm not sure it's beautiful enough for me to ship to Singapore!!  It's such a modern city, can't you find something comparable there???  Good luck!

**Q: Do I have to assemble the lamp shade or is the lamp shade assembled?**
