First off, amazing product. My hair stopped falling off, my wife loved the feel of it and more importantly, the strong hold, lasting all day. The scent is good, A lot of people go cheap on hair products, this is a product worth every single penny. In terms of the HOLD & Easy to apply combo, my favorite pomade. Not that I particularly care that there's some gray on my head -- it's just that it looks much sharper with some black amid the gray. Anyway -- I've tried Morgan's. It works, but it's not got a lot of hold, and I don't love the greasy pillow. It also smells like someone took axle grease and injected musty eau de toilet found in the cabin of the Scott Expedition. I've tried Imperial Blacktop, and it smells every bit as good as Morgan's smells bad. The hold is decent (I have pretty curly, unruly hair, so this is important), but it covers in streaky fashion and contains parabens (or at least it did).So that brings us to Don Juan. The coverage is superb. A little goes a long way, and it holds like a champion. It's really great stuff. There's only one thing keeping this from being the winner to end the contest: it smells so dang flowery. And I really don't like floral at all. If only this company would offer something with a more reasonable, even standard male scent, this would be the king of them all. I dunno -- sandalwood? Vanilla? Patchouli? Anything but flowers, alas. But until something else can equal it and smell nice, this will do the trick. It's easy to apply through thick/course hair. It does how ever leave things darker then before. I know on the description it does darken hair but it's also hard to get that out of your hands.
