Are these grass seeds pet friendly? I have a dog** A: Im sure they will be. I have cats. Took a few weeks for shoots to show but once grass started to grow it grew quickly. **Q: can I sow this in spring ?** A: Good Morning to you 1hr forward. Have just checked Google for you. It says that you can sow grass seed from March to October in the Autumn. I have just scarified and aerated my own lawn, Then going over it with a mix of Top soil and sharp sand 50/50 mix. Mix your seed in it, all depends on the area you are covering i/e A good sized full is more than enough to cover 1 sq yard and brush the lawn over with either a stiff brush or a Witches broom, that's if you have one p/s don't worry if you don't have one, A good old yard brush doe's the job, no problem. Hope this helps Keith. **Q: How many grammes in weight?** A: Unfortunately there is no weight on the bag but it says it can cover 40 square metres. It is the best grass seed I’ve used **Q: How will this do in heavy, clay-like soil?** A: Heavy clay is really poor soil with poor drainage. You will need brak up clay soil with 1/3 of organic matter (compost) and 1/3 of sharp sand (don't use play pit sand as every amerocan youtube, I tried it once and get rid of it as didn't help with drainage, horticultural sharp sand is much better)..
