Always difficult with American cook books.*Disappointing because of the lack of pictures to go with each recipe which makes it difficult to follow the recipes. You really need to read the recipes carefully and several times to understand what you need to do.*And it is an expensive book.You can find recipes for cake mixes on the internet, which I would suggest you do before you attempt to use this book. This will also save you money on expensive, addative commercial cake mixes.Also some recipes call for non dairy whipped topping mix, and a substitute will be Dream topping.This is not a book you can just pick up and start cooking from, you need to give time to read and research further.Having said all that, it is good to find lots of different recipes to use with a cake pop maker, such as aepelskivers, pancake pops.I haven't used any of the recipes yet as I have been doing basic research for the cake mixes.There are not many pictures for decorating cake pops in this book as I have said previously, you can get more ideas from Pinterest. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ great tips and recipes *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 January 2013* Bought this book to start up with my cake maker. The book does have lots of great recipes and also some tips ie to put the cake pops in the freezer befre decoratig. Only downside and reason I gave the book 4 stars is that there are no pictures alongside the recipes. Only a couple of pages of pictures for inspiration. Not what I would have liked/expected. Here there are no cookbooks for the machine, and that's why I ordered this book. It has lots of recipes, and various ... I only had one difficulty: as the book is American, uses common ingredients in America, which here are very hard to find, such as buttermilk and sour cream ... but I am persevering, and already figured out how to make them at home ... and also discovered where to buy ... is only for this reason I did not give the maximum score in this book ... anyway, I recommend it!
