Review: Works as I hoped, better instructions needed. - I am using this hydraulic ram and pump to re press truss plates on a garage roof. I needed something the would work in the horizontal position and this worked just fine. I do wish there were instructions included showing how to add hydraulic fluid. Tip: The pump will work in the horizontal position as shown and it also in the vertical position if the hose is on the bottom. The ram works in any position and it has a built in return spring making it much easier to work with.
Review: Worked as it should - I used it to press a 3/8" thick piece of steel back into place after it got damaged. Used it like a porta power. Worked excellent. It needed to be less than 5" tall to fit between the two pieces that needed to be bent back to a 7" gap.
