These are big chunky tumblers, well designed for a couple of chaps to mull over their whisky with. That may sound sexist but I do think they're more to the masculine taste; in contrast to, say, delicate cocktail glasses.

I needed a couple of glasses to drink whisky at home and occasionally some cocktails. These glasses absolutely do the trick. They seem sturdy and also went through the dishwasher fine. The only downside is that they are quite wide in your hand, but this is easy to overlook.
