**Q: Is this battery suitable for use as an external power source for a trail camera?**
A: The questions are: a. what voltage does the camera require and b. what current does the camera need?   I assume the answer to "a" is 6v and I assume the electrical load for the camera is very small.  Both answers are presumably in your camera handbook.  So if the answers are compatible then the battery will be suitable.
