I didn’t expect it to be bad- I love Dove. But I’m amazed by how impressed I am with this stuff. I would consider myself a skincare junkie and have tried tons of products from drugstore and high end brands. This is currently my favorite skincare product I own. I have psoriasis and need a balm to go over my moisturizer in the dry winter or my skin will chafe all day. I hate the feeling of most petrolatum balms because they stick to everything and rub off. This winter has been particularly dry and aquaphor wouldn’t last through the night. I was looking for something with a more silicone feel on the skin as I find it calming for my psoriasis. This product is life changing. It’s so much silkier than any other occlusive I’ve tried and feels so luxurious on the skin- not greasy at all despite sitting on the surface. After a few days of consistently wearing this over my psoriasis patches, it’s now barely noticeable when nothing else worked.
