Most of the time I do carry-on (which I have from this same brand). But on a recent trip, I needed to check my bag and the luggage we have was just too big. I grabbed this bad boy and boy what a feeling it was. It looks better in person. It comes with a plastic cover which I highly recommend or you will get scratches. That's the only ding (no pun intended) I have on durability.
