As a side sleeper this adds insulation and comfort to my sleep system I couldn’t do without. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for weight *by K***Y on May 10, 2025* These are great for some reasons but not for others. They weigh nothing and are great for backpacking. Used these on a 12 mile hike to our campground. They also traveled well in a bag to take on a plane. They might be nice in the extreme cold also. They also don’t “pop” if they get a hole like inflatable ones. They are not very comfortable if sleeping on hard ground. I watched a couple bundle up leaves and put under their tent, so I’ll try that next time with these. We bought an inflatable pad also for our kids and that seemed to be a lot more comfortable. The inflatable ones are unreliable though, so we will still be carrying both in the future. If you want light, you have to sacrifice a little comfort.
