Review: Great tape - Wish I could review it properly but it is now 2 days overdue and Iā€™m still waiting Review: Miricle in a tape! - Definitely recommend, and here's why, I have something called Dystonia in my right foot (Dystonia is Involuntary muscle contractions that cause repetitive or twisting movement) that started 2 years ago out of the blue. So I started to walk on the outer side with my foot turned inward due to a never ending painful foot cramp feeling in my foot caused by the Dystonia. Eventually, it became my normal walk and stance and was showing signs of starting to become a club foot. :( I used to be a runner before the Dystonia, and at 30, it's not fun to suddenly need a cane and walk funny, and not able to wear my heels anymore. I bought the this tape as I have read/seen great testimonies about KT tape, especially from the Olympics. So I wanted to try to see if it can maybe give partial relief, as my foot hurts like a terrible foot cramp 24/7. I followed a YouTube 'how to' video for placement of tape for 'Plantar fascia' pain. As my issue is in the arch, as well as toes (Mortens Neuroma). I placed my tape exactly as shown, and added one anchored at my toe and stretched over my foot and anchored at the base of my ankle. I was actually able to walk with my foot flat, and not on its side for the first time in 2 years! It is still really tender in my calf, as I think my leg muscles have self trained/manipulated themselves to accommodate the way I have been walking all this time. It takes away about 60% of my pain! There's no cure for Dystonia, and therapies available aren't suitable for the type I have, so this is exciting, and amazing to me! With the help of this K-1tape, I'm able to walk on my foot like normal again, and now be able to get some good cardio. With the goal of retraining my leg to run again! :) Sorry so long, but this is a very big deal, and a very big breakthru for me! :) I have another illness I'm currently battling and trying to over come (POTS), that requires I get some good cardio in to help my heart and autonomic system get stronger. Using it for Achilles Tendonitis and PF and find that the ends where one end overlaps the other starts to peel away. I also find that even rounded edges it is still peeling/lifting at the top of my calf. That being said it does work but ordering 2 other brands to see if the same thing happens. Kinda pricey to have to reapply so quickly. **Q: where is the ebook located?** A: When you receive your order, there is a large, clearly worded note. I wish I had this tape when I was hiking slot canyons last fall! **Q: Is this latex free?** A: If you are getting blisters (with any latex free tapes)-- its likely because you put tension at the start or end. Make sure you place the tension/stretch at the middle of the tape only or it will pull your skin and you'll get blisters or skin sores, etc. Tape seems similar to name brand Kinesiotape. **Q: Would this work for wrapping around heels (running shoes carve away at my skin with friction)?** A: Wrap around heels, on sides of feet and finish on top. It works for me for painful heel spurs. I ordered this tape for plantar fasciititis...I'm running the Marine Corps Marathon in October and I needed to figure something out. I knew I needed to tape my foot, but didn't want to spend the money on expensive KT Tape and the taping not work, so I ordered this brand. The first time I tried it, the tape peeled almost immediately as I live in southwest AZ and sweat is a thing here. When I posted that complaint to the seller, I got an immediate response from them backing up their product and offering a free roll. While waiting for the new roll, I researched what I could do on my end to make it work better. Now, the tape is sticking, and my foot doesn't hurt at all while running, and hurting very little after. Even if the tape didn't stick, I'd give them 5 stars b/c excellent customer service goes a long way with me.
