I just use the handle of a rubber mallet to finish securing the anchors deep into the sand. If you don’t bring a drill along or don’t plan to, grab some red loctite and run a bead along the threads and you can untwist with ease. I used them to anchor a tree that we planted. I dug a hole in the sand/dirt and placed them in the hole. I filled the hole about halfway then watered it to pack it in the ground. I filled the rest of the hole and watered it again. I probably could have pulled it out if I wanted to, but it will hold my tree up during the Florida storms.
