Does it work from a wall switch?** A: Yes, but it does not "remember" your last brightness and color temperature setting. It will always "boot" to 3000k and full brightness whenever you turn the wall switch off and back on. If you like 4000k or 5000k or a dimmer light level, you must re-adjust the lamp every time you turn it on from the wall switch. **Q: How many lumens is this lamp?** A: Beware: it only puts out 1600 lumens, at least in the incarnation they are selling now in 2021. The text at the top of the description says 2700 lumens; the text in the longer description says 1600.
