## Description

With its advanced technology and precision, the Ecolink Flood and Freeze Sensor will alert you of flood, and damaging low temperatures. Its compact design makes it ideal for placement under sinks, next to toilets or other high risk areas that need protection.

Review: Reliable A/C pan water detection - I use these to monitor the pans under my A/C units in the attic and detect when the drains plug up and water overflows into the pans. They are working great. Super reliable. I connected them to a Hubitat (paired very easily) and they alarm via the Hubitat and Apple Home which Hubitat connect to. I’ve had them alarm a couple times as my A/C guy was trouble shooting some drain issues - it was nice to be away from the house and know the A/C drain was plugged and just call the A/C guy to go back and fix it again until he got it right.
Review: I miss simple and works... - I bought this Water Sensor to replace my failed Aeotec Series 500 Sensor. The Aeotec Sensors were a nightmare to deal with. I kept getting false activation until I contacted Aeotec Support to get a correct code to program the sensors. Then they worked OK until one failed (mind you Purchased Jan 2018). The EcoLink Added to my 500 Series Controller on Domoticz easily and had one parameter and I don't have to learn machine language in HEX to program it (take that Aeotec). My only peeve with it is that the sending unit snaps into the mounting bracket. Which means cover and CR123 cell must be removed and the small difficult to locate tab must be depressed to remove from the mounting bracket. I broke off the tab so I would not have to fight it after forgetting about it in a year. It stays on the bracket OK by itself. Your mileage may vary... Overall, If you have a 500 series chip I can recommend this sensor. If you have an 800 series or later get the most recent tech. I've had problems with 800 series devices on my 500 series controller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable A/C pan water detection

I use these to monitor the pans under my A/C units in the attic and detect when the drains plug up and water overflows into the pans. They are working great. Super reliable. I connected them to a Hubitat (paired very easily) and they alarm via the Hubitat and Apple Home which Hubitat connect to. I’ve had them alarm a couple times as my A/C guy was trouble shooting some drain issues - it was nice to be away from the house and know the A/C drain was plugged and just call the A/C guy to go back and fix it again until he got it right.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Noah Would Have Liked This

Ecolink is a great z-wave product line. Reliable, easy to install, great compatibility with z-wave hubs, and very long battery life. What I like best is it has a long cord between the sensor and logic unit so you can install the sensor where it is needed to detect flooding and install the logic unit in a convent spot for changing the battery. I'm installing this on my A/C condensation pan in the attic so I'll immediately know when the condensation line is clogged, and if the attic is freezing. Highly recommend this product!
