One key thing about it though is that if I plug in a device that is capable of supplying power, it will continue to power my hard drives and case fans after I've shut down my computer. The quality of the physical configuration is terrible. the parts do not have a quality finish. The SATA power connector has a rough finish that made it very difficult to attach the power cord. This ended up being easy compared to the socket for the auxiliary (additional) 2 USB ports. The plastic enclosure was cocked and too small for the plug from my front panel USB ports.
