It seems crazy to me - there is a real gap in the market here! I am allergic to the phenelyndiamine in semi permanent and permanent hair colours. I even get a reaction to other products advertised as having no harmful chemicals, such as Daniel Field, Holland & Barrett, etc etc. There must be a small amount of this chemical in them for this to happen. I got away with a sore, uncomfortable scalp and a few scabs - lots of people have more extreme reaction to permanent and semi-permanent hair colour which can be severe enough to require hospital treatment. I am a senior citizen and my hair is completely white, my original colour was light brown. I apply half the tube of Harmony to the roots of my hair and leave for 15 mins and then work the rest of it through the hair and wait another 10 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The colour fades very gradually and I find that re-application to cover new hair growth every 4-5 weeks works well for me. I use Coco, a darker shade than my original colour - the white hair shines through and lightens it to a lovely golden brown. My hairdresser compliments me on the condition of my hair every time I see her now. ### ⭐ Didn't really do anything *by N***N on 8 May 2018* I have dark blonde/brown hair and I just wanted to go a few shades darker to a dark chocolate brown. Looking in the mirror afterwards, I could JUST ABOUT tell that there was a change. Could have been the light.Granted, I have very long hair and I probably should have used two, but given how little effect it had I don't think two would have worked either.Applying it was pretty straightforward, but it was a bit more liquidy than I expected.I ended up buying this brand instead which worked a lot better, see my review there:Marion Hair Color Shampoo in Sachet Lasting 4-8 Washes - 53 - Coffee Brown ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terrific - with reservations *by P***D on 17 January 2013* Harmony hair colour is the best, and I repeat, the best volumiser of my hair over any other product on the market. I don't buy it for the colour - though this is useful - but as a shampoo to give my hair body and thickness right from the roots. You can feel the hair swelling within your fingers as you massage the thick mixture through. I leave it on for about three minutes and then rinse slowly out, feeling the growing fullness in the hair as I do.Freak Out!
