The timer is in minute graduations (up to maximum 30 minutes) and as such needs a little guesswork to set a cooking time anywhere between the whole minutes. There’s no digital display so there will be a little inaccuracy when it comes to timings. I don’t mind this, as most cooking will tolerate this slight over/under timing.It’s rated at 700W, so is at the lower end of the microwave power range, and the level is set by turning the dial through 5 power settings, from low through defrost, to high.The black model has a good quality finish to the casing, and the door mechanism is a simple mechanical push button to open.
