## Description

Product description Jesmonite is a versatile range of water-based, solvent free composite materials ideally suited to the creation of decorative mouldings and glass reinforced laminates. These materials have a range of unique properties, which contribute to strength, durability, non-toxicity, and the ability to comply with many of the necessary test requirements of the construction industry, specifically those in regard to fire performance and impact resistance. Jesmonite sealer has a number of uses:1. As a coating for internal products, apply one coat of sealer by brush or spray to the product to give a clear satin finish.2. To prevent finger marking and provide a near matt finish, apply one coat of sealer, diluted with water by 75%.3. By adding pigments and water to the diluted sealer it is possible to create colour washes for patination. A: Yes it is fire resistant when applied to Jesmonite AC100 and can be used for making candle holders. All Jesmonite products are level 2 fire rated and are resistant to hot candle wax. However, if exposed directly to an open flame, the cast will blacken.
