I wanted one for myself so I could keep tabs and challenge myself as I progressed towards my weight loss goals, and overall health really.Pros: I’m not sure if you’ve priced them recently, but scales at Walmart at more than $25 and don’t do half the stuff this one does. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth capabilities! You download the app specifically for this scale and it will log your weight, BMI, muscle mass, water levels, etc to your profile each time to step on it. Not only that- but it does it for multiple people, too, so it’s not constantly being messed up by the kids playing on it or family members randomly checking their weight. I wanted something to keep me accountable, and nothing beats seeing a cheat day logged into the app instead of a drop day.Cons: I am not a huge fan of this particular appit serves the purpose but could use some more developing.Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase. (Yes, batteries are fresh!) When I re-weigh 3+ times the number is consistent. I don't know why it tells my I'm 2 pounds heavier my first reading than the 2nd, 3rd, or even fourth. Did I lose 2 pounds in 30 seconds or is this scale whacked-out? As far as the app, it kinda sucks. Doesn't show you a month/year long progress even when you tap on it. Plus the other measurements give you a definition only, not where you stand or how far to go before reaching optimal health. I should have paid more and got something more user friendly. Disappointed and past my return date.Update 4/2/18 The company quickly replied to my review and we came to a solution I was satisfied with. You can step on the scale one day and the next day it will tell you a different number, like 5-10 pounds higher number.
