Some shoes that claim to fit both sexes actually end up being too narrow and fitting women only. But these fit the man's foot nicely. Keep in mind that the straps are not secured by Velcro, instead the shoe uses a buckle which have holes that are 1/2 inch apart. The issue it creates for some is it can be too tight or too loose for some. Still the shoe looks nicer with the buckle.
