The size is ideal for holding my (and almost any shaving brush and safety razor). It's attractive, yet unobtrusive in my bathroom.It can be underwhelming when I receive a product in a generic, plain box and label with the product SKU (manufacturer's inventory ID) and "MADE IN CHINA", but even as an engineer who wants more American manufacturing, I have to give credit where credit is due. Out of the box, this razor stand is exceptional for it's purpose.It's also designed to fit nicely into its approximately 5.5 x 4 x 0.25 inch (14 x 10.5 x 0.6 cm) box with effective, yet minimal protective sleeves between parts, making it both cost effective and environmentally-friendly to ship/transport, while not compromising appearance. I visited the pickpiff store before purchase, and it is clear that they stick to their core business (formed metal products with narrow range of surface treatments). That says to me they are more likely to understand their products and those products will more likely hold up well over time.
