Review: A great knife at this price - This is a really nice knife to use, very sharp, holds it's edge and is very controllable, it slices and chops finer and faster than many more expensive knives I own and has become my 'go to' knife in the kitchen. The handle is comfortable and looks great, it even comes with a nice plastic blade cover to protect the edge. The only thing is that it doesn't need the fake 'Damascus Steel' effect etched on the blade, it doesn't detract in any way from the use of the knife and it does stop things like potato sticking, but the knife is good enough to stand on it's own merits without faking it and to be honest it would put me off buying one as a gift, let it stand as it is, a good, practical kitchen knife at a great price. ETA: I recently gave it a real hand sharpen, and it's held a real, shave the hairs off your arm, razor edge really well. There's currently a 40% voucher bring it down to about £16, that's a crazy cheap price for a knife this good so I've bought myself a spare. I can't recommend a knife more than that!

This is a really nice knife to use, very sharp, holds it's edge and is very controllable, it slices and chops finer and faster than many more expensive knives I own and has become my 'go to' knife in the kitchen.
