I have an 8 year red Staffy that has always worn red harnesses, so I stuck with what he looks best in and got the red coloured one again. My main reason for buying this particular harness, other than his old one being old and worn, was for the lifting support handle, as we have recently got a new Mitsubishi warrior which is much higher than an average car and he was struggling to jump into it and I was struggling to lift him, so I bought this to see if it would help. The harness itself is padded and looks really comfortable when on, the handle is strong and makes it so much easier lifting my 18kg boy into the vehicle! We just lift him using the handle and hold onto one of his back legs for extra support. I've had this harness a few weeks now and have been lifting him in twice aday, everyday, and it's still as supportive and strong as on day one. I got a size medium which was the perfect fit for him, and he is an average sized male Staffy. I would definitely recommend this harness for style and convenience. . ### ⭐ Didn't fit *by A***A on 27 April 2017* Previously bought 2 of these and they fitted well. Bought the same again and was very disappointed to find it didnt fit and was much smaller when measured against the old ones. This is our first time trying a vest style and cannot believe how much more secure it feels. Our Shar Pei x Staff loves it - it looks very comfortable on him. Recommend for larger/heavier/muscular dogs, much better than the fig.8 or strap style harnesses.
