Review: Okay charcoal briquettes for shorter bbqs - My expectations are potentially too high as I’ve just finished using 24kg of Weber briquettes, they burn hotter for longer, but the price reflects that. The issue with these Big K ones is they take an age to get hot in the bbq chimney (between 30-45 mins) and then only burn for another hour or so after, it’s alright if you are only cooking a small feed, but if you had a party for example I wouldn’t be that confident. Would I buy again? For the price, probably yes. The only proverb of you get what you pay for rings true here though.
