Well constructed with lots of practical features. Even has a whistle built into the chest strap clip. I bought this for a load bearing mountain race and have been carrying 15KG whilst training (majority of this weight is made up of 2 x 5 litre bottles of water side by side to give you an idea of the main compartment size and even with a 2 litre hydration bladder in there too, there is still lots of room left). The bag is coping fine with this with no breaking of stitching etc and the straps are as comfortable as you could expect for that kind of activity. Plenty of storage compartments and good adjustment range of the outer 'lid' straps for when very full or almost empty. The outer pockets can each accommodate a 2 litre (e.g.lemonade) bottle with the lid closed no problem. The lid pocket can store something like a waterproof jacket or trousers and has elastic cord on the outside for additional items. If it had a phone/compass/keys/money pocket on the straps or waist it would be perfect so that you could access small items without having to stop and de-bag - but there a couple of D rings to anchor extra things onto. There are also loops on the bottom to add a bed roll or similar. Certainly same standard as official issue stuff as far as I can tell. Highly recommended. Yet to test it in extreme weather but feels like it will be fine...I will let you know in January! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb rucksack. *by R***O on 27 September 2015* Been using this rucksack for the past few months and am extremely immpressed with the product. Its very rugged and the zips are big and tough, the straps are tough and the inner waterproofing works well. i can fit a suprising amount of gear in it, about enough for a weekends wild camping. the only drawback is a lack of extra webbing like somewhere to strap your tent or bed roll onto (its one or the other). Its also quite comfortable and ergonomic. the velcro is strong where you can place a patch which gives it a bit more style. 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bag *by A***R on 20 September 2020* Bought the bag after my previous buy turned out to be inadequate. Packed it with 26kg and took it for a few miles. Its help up well but there are some early warning signs of seams coming apart. Its a comfy bag so ill keep it for training albeit with less weight. The stitching is also imperfect in some places but its still a really sturdy and robust bag. The material used is not waterproof, but its extremely tear resistant and will hold up to a battering and is strong enough for rigorous use. Overall a great bag for the price.
