How comfortable is it to sit in this chair all day?** A: I got this exact chair from another seller a couple years ago. At first i was pleased, it was a budget option, it looks nice, seemed sturdy enough, and felt fine to sit in for many hours at a time. But then i started to notice things. It had a slight 'lean' to it (to the right), and every time i shift my weight it makes a loud 'clack' sound, coming from the mechanism, but i could never pinpoint exactly what was doing it. I also feel like the arms are too high relative to the seat, and i'm 6 foot. Leaves me scrunching my shoulders to get my elbows onto the armrests, which has created some chronic cervical/thoracic discomfort. Also, when you flip them back, the tips are still sticking out, so they'll touch the outside of your upper arm near the shoulder. The seat cushion also seems like it's just not soft enough anymore, although i will say that it still felt fine to sit in, despite all the other issues, because it's a good shape. The lift cylinder also seems to have deteriorated enough that, if i actually wanted to sit higher, it would just gradually slide down (but i like my feet flat on the floor, so it's fine in my case). The wheels seem okay, the rotation of the base is smooth, the linking pieces that hold the back to the seat (where the arms anchor) seem sturdy enough. Minus a few irritating issues, it's decent. Could be worse. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's probably better than a lot of cheaper or similarly priced units. **Q: I emailed the store directly regarding a faulty part for the lumbar adjustment and no response. I don't want to have to return the chair. Suggestions?** A: The email address and phone number provided in the User Manual do not work for me either. Both seem to not even exist. BUYER BEWARE, THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE! **Q: How do i contact the company? both the email and phone number in the user manual come back as undeliverable (email) or not an active phone number.** A: No idea--ask Amazon they are their selling agent **Q: can anyone tell me the size of the gas cylinder for this chair (length)?** A: It's a standard size cylinder if that helps you out any. I am short, have back/neck/shoulder/wrist issues, and work for 8-10 hours a day. I do have a walking pad and a standing desk so I have the option to choose not to sit. I wanted a chair that was comfortable, supportive, and under $200. This is THE chair. I took my measurements from home (with help), and shopped for two weeks trying to find a chair that met the requirements for me that wasn’t a (insert name brand here that costs $600-$1300). I even went to Reddit for suggestions to no avail. My goal was to find a chair that I wouldn’t need to alter with DIY comfort solutions or purchased aids (like footrests and cushions). If I’m spending money on a chair I want to avoid extra costs. I’m here to tell you as a 5’3” work from home 33 year old, this is the chair. At the lowest height my knees are at a 90 degree angle. At the lowest height my arms are able to rest at a 90 degree angle over my keyboard with my arms tucked in appropriately to the sides of my body. The armrest width and height was actually the largest factor in purchasing this chair. The seat does adjust for height and depth, which is good. Assembly was mostly easy. I appreciated the packaging and the manual. The bottom of the seat looked high quality and I felt confident that it would hold together well. I wish the instructions had been more clear about the random circles for the 2 holes underneath. I took them out, seat was too tilted forward, put them back in, and it’s perfect. The back support piece is a bit too awkward through the mesh. It’s a random hard spot. I intend to purchase more comfortable lumbar support eventually. The armrests are hard plastic, so I may also invest in armrest cushions. The quality it’s great, feels stable, very adjustable, full of features that are hard to come by in this price range. I'm 6'3" tall, and had heard other customers in my height range had issues with the Clatina chair (specifically the size of the seat). So ultimately I ended up going with the Colamy Kirin chair, and I'm glad I did. The seat is super spacious and gives my longer legs more than enough room, and thick enough it doesn't feel like it's going to 'bottom out' anytime soon.The chair features a bunch of adjustment options that you usually find on more expensive chairs, and the hardware feels generally good quality (again, for the price).I'm not usually a big fan of lumbar support, but the one on this chair is decent and unobtrusive. It also has a bit of padding on the lumbar support itself, as opposed to hard plastic like on many other chairs (which is terrible by the way). Anyways. lumbar support is good, coming from someone who doesn't usually want any.Lastly; the chair looks good, with a clean and modern design.
