I want to add that I am Asian with a round head shape vs. the European oval shapes of most helmets in the US. I technically measure at the upper end of size small but the large size is the one that fits me without pressure points on the sides of my head. I tried the medium size which still had uncomfortable pressure points. The sizer in back was helpful to get the proper fit.
