It's a fantastic meat hammer, ice breaker, frozen anything persuader, and anything else you can think of. The quality is excellent and I would recommend this for any application. Also, a feature that I only noticed after it had arrived was the magnetic nail holder on the top of the head. There is a grove that runs down the hammer head with a magnet on the end. This will hold a tack or a nail in place for you to be able to start it with ease. Very cool idea.
