But I was super bummed because that’s who I originally got them for and was hoping to sell necklaces people could easily get over their heads. Guess I should have measured! They are bright and colorful and pretty good quality, though for some flat back bails it won’t go through. And one of them broke apart.

**Q: I see comments that this is not real leather. Which is true? And what does "hand-synehtesized" mean?**
A: It's not plastic, as someone else commented. It's waxed cotton which gives it a leather feel. Good for cheap jewelry, but it doesn't really last as long as real leather.

**Q: What is the clasp and metals loops made of? Is it stainless steel or plated iron..?**
A: At the given price, I doubt the metal is anything but plated iron.  The product description should specify the make-up of the parts.

**Q: Can you fit sea shells on this necklace?**
A: It depends on how you want to hang the shell from this cord? If you drill a hole on the shell and put a jump ring thru the hole that would work.

**Q: What are the 5 colors ?**
A: It's been so long since I ordered them, but I do remember that a lot of them were black, and some brown, tan, cream; I think. There weren't bright colors like red or blue. Sorry I can't be 100% sure. I just remember getting them because the price was pretty good for so many.

I ordered this to use for crafts. There is a fantastic verity of colors ans overall like this set very much. However i had to take off a few stars as several of the necklaces arrived with parts fo the clips broken off. Luckily i can fix them easily as i am familar with necklace making, but deff something to keep in mind when ordering
