The simulated sunrise light gradually brightens about 10 minutes before the set alarm time, which helps ease me awake more naturally instead of being jolted by a loud sound. This makes mornings feel calmer, and I’ve noticed I wake up in a slightly better mood on most days. The built-in sound machine with 10 natural sounds (like white noise and nature options) is nice for helping me fall asleep or mask house noises. I usually set the sleep timer so the sound fades out after about 60 minutes. The soft nightlight and adjustable display brightness are also helpful; no harsh glare in a dark room. Setup was straightforward, but I found a slight learning curve navigating all the modes and buttons at first, so it helps to spend a few minutes with the manual.
