After peeling off the very sharp leaves, I had wanted to try it so I bit the bullet and paid to much. I will not buy it again. ### ⭐⭐ Doesn't taste like it was pickled. Oily. *by L***A on December 5, 2023* I didn't like this brand. I expected it to be and taste pickled, but it came in a bag with chili spiced oil. The smell and taste was off for me. I believe that this is just a different type so it's not bad. I just personally don't like it for myself. It might be good if you boiled it or fried it with some type of meat, but I wouldn't eat the bamboo from the bag like other pickled bamboo shoots. Also, due to the bamboo being thinner, you only get a little bit of the soft bamboo for the price.
