I really wish I would have come across these sooner. I've been using plain metal tongs for years. A couple weeks ago I was feeding my pacman frog and I used the plain metal tongs ive been using for years as usual. When he jumped for the food the tongs got lodged into the inside of his mouth and stuck there for a few seconds until my frog detached from him freaking out. I never knew that could happen. I immediately ordered these metal tongs with a rubber coating. After some research, its pretty common having accidents like that with metal tongs that aren't coated. The length is perfect. They work great, very sturdy. Theyre everything u like about plain metal feeding tongs, but safe. Please, if u use uncoated metal tongs, switch to these coated tongs. U dont want to go through what we went through. I still feel horrible for it happening. They are worth the money. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The black is also very nice.
