The material is sturdy. But the stitching is not as well done as I would expect. Or perhaps the opening just needs to be bigger. The issue I ran into was that the openings on both cases were tight. The first pillow just barely made it in, but the second time the zipper seam at the end of the zipper split. So now it does not close 100%, it's more like 92% -- Really not a hug deal, but I would definitely recommend taking it slow when putting the pillow in. That being said, I really do like these cases!
