I couldn't find the small tensioner tool that the fencer people provided several years ago, so I purchased this specialized product and I am very pleased with it. I'm sure it will add years to the life of my existing fence. The size is large enough to get a good grip on and do the job efficiently. Even better, it's a two-piece pack. Nice product. Review: They work. What else is there to say? - I've never installed tensioned wire before, so this was all new to me. These were reasonably priced and much less than my local tractor store. I've used them two different ways. I tried the fork end and that worked ok. I will say that the one I used seemed a little askew. Once I got the forks over the tensioner, it worked as expected. I was able to tighten the wire with just a few ratchets. It also has a square hole in the end of the handle. This can be used similar to a non-ratcheting wrench. The tensioner has a matching square on the axis. I used this for fine tuning, but I greatly prefer it over the ratchet. Can't really complain.
