I don't mind admitting I was amazed because it's so easy you really wonder if it can work. I wasn't doing any exercises on the machine then either, just standing and it still worked for me. After that I rented a machine and used it regularly to maintain my weight. I started doing squats while using it and was so pleased with how tight and toned my legs, bottom and stomach were. When I moved house I stopped renting it for a year and could really see a difference (not in a good way!) I managed to maintain my ideal weight without the machine because I always watch what I eat, but I have been unhappy to lose the toned muscles and haven't felt as good about myself. I have been searching for a replacement for a while and didn't want a big bulky thing with huge handles (the kind I'd been renting). I was really pleased to find this and the price seems fair to me (given market leaders were selling for over a grand when these first appeared). I was impressed with quick delivery (not least because UPS took it to a shop not far from my home for me to collect with ease when they couldn't deliver it). It's not as heavy as I feared so can be moved about the house and isn't too loud. There are more speed settings on this than I've been used to which is great and it has a remote control. I recommend using it daily (or 6 days a week) for 9 minutes and you will see results within a couple of weeks. It came with full instructions and even a poster of recommended exercises to do on the plate but if you're new to using one, you really can get away with just standing on it to begin with. I would definitely recommend this plate.
