It gets wet (obviously) when I went to the beach with my dog, but it dries up within 2-3 hours, and the sand gets off just by shaking it.I ordered size XL, fits on my dog perfectly with a lot of adjustable space as well as breathing space.The only thing that’s not as great is that the knuckle part is plastic instead of metal.
