The tops screw off and ink tubes slide right out! Now I'll have to check with the company to see if they're available. **Q: anyone use both these and the artist choice gel pens? which is better?** A: I bought "2" of these Color Technik Gel Pens Sets...one for my Mom-In-Law who is a resident in a Long-Term Care Home, and one for myself. She has had other color pencils and color pens, as well as, color markers given to her from others, previously, but she finds these best against all her others. **Q: How many mm thick are the points?** A: not sure about the mm but they are quite nice and so many colors east to use also ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money *by H***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2018* Purchased 28/6/18 and paid £14.57Great variety of colours with no duplicates (although a couple of colours are close) and no duds either.I had to tighten the silver 'nozzle' end on around a third of them but it was easy to do & next to no time.The majority of pens had a smooth ink flow straight away but I had to keep scribbling a few on a scrap bit of paper before I swatched them to get them to work, but again, no bother.The value for money is fantastic considering the amount of pens you get and the variety too. There's metallics, glittery, bright glittery, pastels etc. I have included pictures of the swatches I did of all 120 pens. I found I had to wait at least a few seconds for the 'thicker' inks to dry such as the metallics & the glittery ones otherwise there's a high chance of them smudging. The plain ones with no glitter or metallic effect seemed to dry almost straight away.I have tried them out in several different colouring books with different thicknesses of paper and as long as you don't press really hard then they shouldn't bleed through.Whether they're a present for children or a treat for your adult self, I'd definitely recommend them.I enjoy leaving reviews to help others in their purchasing decisions and hope my honest review has helped you today. They have good strong nibs are nice to hold without getting sore fingers.
