A: Because people who live in California are a bunch of hippies!

**Q: If a baby we're to chew on these could pieces be bitten off?**
A: It's likely, my dog chewed on the material and it came off pretty easily, it's like a plastic styrofoam/rubber material. I would say no one under the age of 3/4 years old
