With 45-90 minutes of playtime, it challenges players to think critically and plan strategically in a futuristic solar system setting.

## Description

Following the discovery of hyperspace travel in the year 2246, a renewed sense of unity and purpose ripples across the whole solar system. The factions in power need to position themselves quickly to seize this golden opportunity, and strong leadership is necessary to get ahead in the race to colonize the galaxy. Thanks to the Omniweb Engine, a data-mining network that covers the entire population of the solar system, each faction can search with pinpoint precision for candidates with the exact skills and traits they need, both domestically and militarily. Can your faction find and groom leaders with the perfect combination of internal ingenuity and external prowess to rise above the others? Designer: Dennis K. Chan & Joseph Summa. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are those “cubes” for counting/tracking and/or are they “dice” that you roll?**
A: Usually just counting/tracking.

There are a few cards that have you roll them to gain a random benefit, but that’s rare.

**Q: Is this the second edition?**
A: Which edition you get depends upon from whom you order. At the time of your question, there are 14 Amazon sellers for this item, so you would have to check with each to know what each is selling. CLS Games is selling the most current printing of the most current English language edition (aka, 2nd Edition).

**Q: Msrp is $39.99 - why is the official amazon price so high?**
A: At the time of writing, everyone else is out of stock, so they can take advantage of that by raising prices. I am a big fan of Beyond the Sun but the expansion is really overpriced even at MSRP. There's not a lot of stuff in there.

**Q: Game looks really cool. Is there a solo variant?**
A: There is no official solo variant but you can find unofficial solo rules by googling “beyond the Sun solo”

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beyond the sun, expansion
*by R***R on 25 December 2024*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Constructieve uitbreiding!
*by T***N on 23 February 2026*
