Any suggestions on how to fix this?** A: The silicon ring is tapered and intended to act as a wedge to hold up the wire tray. You need to hold the ring in place at the required height and push the wire basket down firmly onto the ring without letting it slip down. The tapered cup on the tray fitting over the ring then squeezes the ring in so that it grips the mounting pole. The more you push down or the weight in the tray, the more the silicon ring grips the pole. It sounds like you haven’t pushed the tray down onto the ring in the first place. So that it starts to grip. **Q: Will it fit 240 cm** A: Yes **Q: the inner spring is stainless steel?** A: The description states the only materials used are stainless steel plus ABS for the two ends. This is the first shower caddie that did not fail quickly for us. Has had several years of regular use, no rust streaks or other problems. Still secure in position and the shelves have stayed in place. It is easy to put together, and is really surprisingly strong. I’ve loaded it up with all sorts and it doesn’t show any signs of slippage or having a problem with the weight - I feel quite certain it wont collapse. Very happy with the quality of the product.
