Like she was afraid I was hiding one of those dreaded de-matting tools behind my back. I had no choice and the groomer confirmed, we had to shaved off her hair……. and a lot of her personality. My first reaction was, this is it? I figured, what have I got to lose, other than more money. So, we played and went for a nice long walk and when she was tired and laying next to me on the sofa, I picked up the brush and ran it over her coat. She didn’t move. I tried it again, she moved, but to a more relaxed position. Fast forward to Wednesday, she doesn’t run away when she sees the brush. She let me brush her for a pretty long time last night and this morning. It’s a miracle. I believe the secret is, it’s flexible. . I don’t think it pulls the hair as much, but, I’m just guessing, I only know this is the first brush my puppy will actually tolerate, no growling, no biting and her coat looks and feels much better. The other version I got of this brush was blue plastic, I do prefer it in wood. It's reversible, one side has shorter, softer teeth than the other. Arteris is a great brand and IMO, it's very good value for the cost.
