I wanted it for a counter top not to hang up, It’s solid enough to be sturdy on the counter top. Pump mechanism seems easy to push down. Came very well packaged, which was a good thing because I ordered other products from desertcart and the box the bottles came in definitely rolled around as there wasn’t that much inner packaging materia in the large desertcart box. I think I might prefer the matte black ones in my african themed bathroom but I had already filled this amber one with soap. I didn’t realize the screws were inside the bottle (haha ha) so be sure to take out the little plastic bag before you fill it. Review: Great soap dispenser - Love this item. It was super easy to install with just the sticky bit (waited the 24 hours before attaching pump bottle). I appreciate that it comes with parts so that you can screw it to the wall if you wish. I applied this to a painted wall (drywall). I did clean the surface with rubbing alcohol as well. It works wonderfully, and it looks great :).
