I started getting some awful frequency noise from my pedals - I first swapped out the cables to see if that was the issue, and finally settled with ordering a better power supply (I grabbed a walrus canvas) and holy crap I cannot believe how much better my guitar, pedals, and amp sounds with better isolation.
