Review: These work great for fitting lights into existing holes where the new lights are too small to cover up the opening.
Review: Perfect size that fits around those new cheap, thin Chinese LED recessed lights. When gaps in the ceiling holes from my old can lights couldn't be narrowed with plaster, I heard about goof rings. They are nice and thin, very easy to install and solved the gap problem. The color matches the plastic of the LED lights and blends quietly into a 1970s plaster ceiling. Saved me the aggravation and cost of replastering the ceiling.
