Review: sick bumper for the price - awsome very sturdy tire carrier but the instructions could be a little more clear maybe some pictures would be nice the only pictures i got was the assembly of the berrings into the actual pivot point of the tire carrier all other assembly was pretty much me being mechanically inclined lol but i got it and it adds about 80 lbs to the body armor rear bumper which is about 70 lbs so very stong and heavy duty havent had a problem with the tire swing arm comeing open i think if u install it right and tighten it so that it cant pop out it works well i left the stock tire bump stops on and that seems to help with the tension against the swing arm so it has no movement !! which to me is key . the instructions say to put one lug on the left side of the tire mount plate and two on the right when for my 07 wrangler jk its the opposite two on left and one on right other than the little issues this thing is heavy duty and looks sick now for some d rings and maybe the third tail light from body armor and im set thanks desertcart ur awsome and thanks body armor ur awsome Review: Amateur Construction - The seams were not completely welded, leaving large gaps in the seam that let rain water in. The tire carrier filled with water, which was pouring rusty water all over my rear bumper. Trying to plug up the seams. The carrier doesn't mate well with the bumper. When installed as directed, the carrier isn't parallel with the bumper and the latch doesn't match up well, making opening and closing the carrier a hassle. The hinge requires copious amounts of grease, but is not designed to open back up and has no nipple for adding grease in the future.
