I think these would be suitable in a minimalistic setting, with other furniture that is close to the ground, for me that is in a spare bedroom. The pieces are packed really well with minimal styrofoam, but more plastic than I'm comfortable with. That did make it so that it reached me with no scratches or bent metal though, so there's that. They are really very simple to put together as long as you have a little patience. Most of the lettered stickers on the individual parts were still in place, but it was easy to figure out for the few that weren't. There are only 3 types of the larger screws (1 smaller type for drawer pulls) and they come in their own packages which are also labeled. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. It took me, at a leisurely pace, about 30 min each to assemble with only the allen keys provided.
