Nice piece of work. Interesting how this type of razor stand differs from all the rest that hold the razor upright. I like the Henson idea of their way of air drying the razor. In fact, I was putting my other razors on their side-end to dry; it just made so much more sense for me to do so even after towel drying it. I now have a nice looking stand that does just that - hold the razor on its side end, just the way I like it. And it looks great. Well made, definitely will last forever. It has two threaded holes underneath, maybe was used to hold down the raw piece during the machining process? No doubt a conversational piece. I was reluctant to buy because of the price, but I'm glad I did. You get what you pay for. No regrets.
